Can the Hardwood Floor Care System be used on my pre-finished hardwood floor?
Yes, as long as it is polyurethane pre-finish.

Can the Hardwood Floor Care System be use on manufactured or engineered wood floors?

Orange Glo Cleaner can be used on all manufactured or engineered floors. However, Orange Glo Hardwood refinisher can only be used on polyurethane finished manufactured or engineered floors.

Can I use the Hardwood Floor Care System on my waxed floors?
No.

Can I use the Hardwood Floor Care System on unfinished hardwood floors?
Orange Glo Cleaner can be used on unfinished hardwood floors. Orange Glo Hardwood Refinisher should only be used on polyurethane finished hardwood floors.

Hardwood Floor Cleaner works great on unwaxed furniture, doors, cabinets and paneled walls. Hardwood Floor Refinisher should only be used on polyurethane finished hardwood floors.

Will the refinisher build up over time?
Yes, and this is a good thing. Everytime you apply Orange Glo Refinisher you are putting down a protective coat of polyurethane that can help prolong the life of your floor.

How do I apply the Hardwood Floor Refinisher to get optimal results?
Dampen the beige AlluraTM fiber refinishing pad before use. Apply Hardwood Floor Refinisher according to packaging instructions.

I have previously used Orange Glo Wood Floor Cleaner and Polish on my floors. Can I use the Refinisher?
Any remaining Orange Glo Wood Floor Cleaner and Polish must be removed prior to use of the Hardwood Floor Refinisher. Use of a reputable clean and strip product formulated to remove wax and polish is recommended.

I have used a product with polish on my floor. Can I use the Hardwood Floor Refinisher?

No, it is non-strippable.

No. These types of issues require professional assistance.

How often should I use the Hardwood Floor Refinisher?
The Hardwood Floor Refinisher can be applied up to 4 times per year if necessary.

How long does the Hardwood Floor Refinisher take to dry/how soon can I walk on it?
Depending on the climate/humidity, allow one hour before walking. We recommend resuming heavy traffic only after about 24 hours.

How soon can I apply a second coat of the Hardwood Floor Refinisher?
Allow two hours for the first coat to dry.

How soon can I replace furniture after using the Hardwood Floor Refinisher?
Allow 24 hours before replacing furniture.

I have a cloudy haze or streaking after applying first coat of Hardwood Floor Refinisher. What’s wrong?

• A Package directions may not have been followed.
  1. Hardwood Floor Refinisher should be applied using 32oz. for 500 sq. ft. Each ounce will cover approximately 15 square feet.
• There may be residue from a product previously used
  1. Prior to using the Refinisher, all polish must be removed. Use of a reputable clean and strip product formulated to remove wax and polish is recommended.
  2. All oily residues must be removed prior to using the Hardwood Floor Refinisher. Repeated use of the Hardwood Floor Cleaner may be used to remove oily residue.

What will happen if I shake the Hardwood Floor Refinisher rather than rock it back and forth?
The Hardwood Floor Refinisher will foam, creating very small bubbles and will not provide optimal results. If shaken, allow to settle before use.

I have a Satin/low gloss finish. Can I maintain this type of finish with the Hardwood Floor Refinisher?
It will increase the gloss level. Test in an inconspicuous spot first to determine acceptability of gloss level.

What can I do if I have accidentally used the Hardwood Floor Refinisher on my laminate floor?
We recommend contacting your local hardwood floor professional or the manufacturer of your floor for advice.

It can be used dry for dusting and must be dampened for use with the Hardwood Floor Cleaner. the refinishing pad should be rinised immediately after use to prevent hardening.

How do I clean the Allura fiber Cleaning and Refinishing pads?
Wash in warm water. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Air dry or tumble dry low.

How long will the Allura fiber Cleaning and Refinishing pads last?
Approximately 3 years with proper care and normal use.

Which pad do I use with the Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Hardwood Floor Refinisher?

• The thin, green colored pad is used with the Hardwood Floor Cleaner.
• The cream colored, curved- cornered pad is used with the Hardwood Floor Refinisher (do not mistake for our new Hardwood Floor Dusting Pad which is white and rectangular).

My mop head is flipping over during use. What do I do?
Make sure pad is damp and turn mop around to face the other direction.
